Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NightGlass ("the app", "we", "us") — an IPTV player app published by Hungry Gorilla ("the developer") — handles information when you use it. NightGlass is built to respect your privacy: it contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and no user accounts on our servers.

1. Information the app handles

NightGlass is a "bring your own provider" player. To keep things private, it deliberately handles as little information as possible:

• IPTV provider credentials. When you choose to log in, you enter your provider's server address, username and password. These are supplied by you and relate to an IPTV service you already subscribe to. They are stored locally on your device and are used only to connect to that provider.
• App preferences. Settings such as your favourites, chosen filters, layout preferences and playback position are stored locally on your device so the app works the way you like.
• Streaming requests. When you play a channel, film or series, the app requests that stream directly from your provider's server. Those requests travel between your device and your provider. Hungry Gorilla is not part of that connection and does not receive, log or store what you watch.

NightGlass does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos or similar personal information, and it contains no advertising identifiers or third-party tracking.

2. How that information is used

The limited information above is used solely to make the app function on your device — to connect to the provider you enter, to display your channels, guide, films and series, and to remember your preferences. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or sold or shared with data brokers.

3. Where data is stored

Your credentials and preferences are stored on your device using standard iOS storage. Hungry Gorilla does not operate accounts or servers that hold your NightGlass data. If you delete the app, the data it stored on your device is removed with it.

4. Third parties

NightGlass itself does not integrate advertising networks or analytics SDKs. Two independent parties may nonetheless be involved when you use it:

• Your IPTV provider. The service whose credentials you enter delivers the actual channels and content, and receives your connection and streaming requests directly. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms and privacy policy, not this one. Choose your provider carefully.
• Apple. The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, and any tips or in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple may collect information in accordance with its own privacy policy (for example, purchase and basic diagnostic data). Hungry Gorilla receives only aggregate, anonymised sales and crash information from Apple and cannot identify you from it.

5. Tips & purchases

NightGlass is free to use. It may offer an optional "tip jar" or similar in-app purchase so you can support development. These transactions are handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account — Hungry Gorilla never receives or stores your payment card details.

6. Children

NightGlass is a general-audience media player intended for a broad audience and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the content shown comes from the provider you configure, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising what is accessible through their own subscription.

7. Your rights & choices

Because NightGlass stores your information only on your device and we hold no personal data about you on our side, you remain in direct control:

• You can remove your provider credentials at any time from within the app's Settings.
• You can clear all app data by deleting the app from your device.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Since we do not hold personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase; for any questions, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the app gains new features. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
